About ReviewRoam

ReviewRoam is a place to share what things are actually like once you've bought, used or visited them, and to talk about them with other people who have.

What we promise

• Ratings can't be bought. Businesses can't pay to change a rating, hide an honest review or buy their way up a list.
• No paid reviews. We never pay or reward anyone for positive reviews.
• Clear labels. Reviews, discussions, questions and answers are always labelled. Official posts from the site team are marked "Official". Sponsored content, if we ever show it, will be marked "Sponsored".
• No fake badges. Experience details (such as "owns it" or "used it for 2 years") are what the reviewer tells us. We will only show "verified" once we actually verify something.
• Affiliate links are disclosed. Some "where to buy" links may earn us a commission. They never affect ratings or which reviews are shown.

How ratings work

An item's rating is the plain average of the star ratings in visible reviews on its page. Removed reviews don't count. Discussions and questions never count towards ratings.
