How verification works
- Find your business and choose "This is my business" (or add it).
- We call the phone number listed for your business and read you a 6-digit code. Enter it in your dashboard.
- No listed phone? A moderator checks evidence instead: a photo or short video of you at the premises with the sign visible, or a business document with private details covered.
Pages show exactly what was checked, e.g. "Verified business · checked by phone". Anyone can review a business whether or not it's claimed.
What nobody can buy
- A better rating, a higher place in "Best rated", or removal of an honest review.
- Owners can't review their own business.
- Sponsored placements, when offered, are always labelled and kept separate from the list.
If a review breaks the guidelines (for example it's fake or about a different place), report it like anyone else.
